Here we’re concentrating resources in order to build the Italian-Mediterranean Startup Hub.
Notable startups are Atooma, Qurami, Soundreef, Stereomood, NextStyler, urli.st.
A great exit has been Venere.com, taken by Expedia for over 200M.
Local acceleration network is aggregated around the Roma Startup association, which is obtaining from the city public areas to be used for acceleration programs. Top player is EnLabs, a ycombinator-style incubator.

Well, there is one thing that you might want to update: tiramizoo did not have an exit – it just got further funding through Daimler AG, which now owns a minority stake. But hey, some exits come faster than one might think :)
