Point taken. I suppose I was looking for something of a more inventive leap. Could very well be I get smacked in the head for my purchase but nonetheless, I've decided to sit this one out and I'm good with that.

There are rumors there may be more than one manufacturer for Nexus based phones this time around. I'm hoping that's true and that Samsung will make in improved version of their Nexus (mainly the camera and bump up the processor). I love the price point of the current Nexus but would love a slightly better camera.

Uhh excuse me but how is it a step back or a stand still? going from an old dual core TI with 1gb of RAM to the latest and greatest S4 PRO quad core with 2gb of ram is a huge leap ahead.

Agreed that it's a step back or at best a standstill. I also ordered the Nexus handset, just last night. I waited to get some idea about this new handset and while drooled over the Note 2, I couldn't justify the cost of the latter seeing as how I also need to replace my 2006 MacBook Pro asap and the Note 2 is going to cost as much as a little laptop. ;o)

Seeing that I'm currently using a 3GS, the Nexus will be a lovely step up for me and should last as long as I need it to. Thanks again for covering all these devices. The usefulness of the articles and videos helped created a GigaOm fangirl, fancy that.

Thanks Kevin for your opinion on the new Nexus. I'll be skipping it too, since I recently bought a Galaxy Nexus, and love it. The rumor mill says that the LG Nexus will not have LTE. I'm dubious, but talk about a move backwards if true.
