Its quite simple maths if you borrow 1.5 billion at 5% you need to make at least 75 Million a year net profit, Turnover 750 million a year or an extra 1.5 Million solar panels at $500 per panel (more than the current cost) sold per year assuming no one else increases production although you as an industry insider know everyone is trying and pays lower wages. Good business plan if its other peoples money.

Solyndra didn’t get free money from the federal government. The government agreed to guarantee A $535M loan, and the loan came from the Federal Financing Bank. Solyndra needed to repay that loan, and whatever money the company’s got left through the bankruptcy proceedings will be used to repay that loan (as well as some other creditors).

So a company that got free money from the US Federal government is suing the Chinese for unfair business practices? Is this April Fools Day?
