-Animals choke on plastic bags, or they get their heads stuck in the handle part, period. Get over your “anti-science” argument and perhaps try choking on a bag to see how you like it?
-LED light quality is equal to or better than old bulbs, proof is in the pudding as my company has retro’d our old wattage sucking mercury containing tubes with 18W LED tubes.
-20 years ehhh you’re probably right….

This seems like a great project from IKEA, I thing they already implemented some of the LED technology, and they are already providing electric energy for a few thousands houses. So it’s great!

LED light quality is still inferior. And they don’t last 20 years. That’s simply a lie.
Also the plastic bag ban is stupid and anti-science.

2016? Pffft. Everybody will probably have switching their stocks to LEDs by then.

IKEA has been behind the curve on LEDs. Costco and Sam’s Club have been selling cheap LEDs for almost 5 years now.
