I don’t think that anything was forced on you. I’m posting this from my iPad still running iOS 5. My 4S is also running that. I wasn’t a hurried baby who didn’t do his research and am waiting for proper standalone solutions before upgrading. If those never come I will be staying with my current setup until it is no longer viable.

iOS 6 does not have youtube so you have to download the app of youtube and the app is bad

I don’t know what stores you’ve been shopping in or what state you’re from, but the Cincinnati area is disappointing. Apple’s genius’ are not so genius anymore. In fact, they’re pretty uneducated at times, and becoming rude and arrogant. The whole company has become too big for their britches!
