I met David once during an informational session at a tech stars event at a bar. He definitely came off as a jerk. However, I didn't want to judge him from 1 meeting. Then I saw him on the tech stars tv show on bloomberg. Got the same feeling watching the show. don't know how much of his attitude is real or just for show or possible to test people who are applying for the program, but he just left a negative impression about tech stars as a whole.

I think the whole team has greatly improved the startup field in new York city and have to give them a ton of credit for that. With regard to the actual
selection of the companies, it can be a bit subjective. Sometimes it seems the selection process is highly based on networking and connections more so than the actual idea or team. Involved.

All due respect to tech stars, I would like to see a change of leadership, it's usually a good thing.
