		<description><![CDATA[Derrick, its a great article.. I&#039;d like to share my experience in cloud based benchmarks, open source software and crowd collaboration..

We&#039;ve been benchmarking 8 Free and Open Source ESBs on Amazon EC2 since last year (http://esbperformance.org), and are currently in the process of running an updated round. Since the results are published along with the full AMI, and all resources to reproduce the rest, its trivial for end-users to run the test on EC2, or locally to verify results, and measure customizations etc.

Another good thing happening in this upcoming round is that vendors have now begun collaborating, and have been working on making the benchmark more transparent, open and fair. Stay tuned for the results available in a few more weeks..
