"Apple executives can blame these rumors for somewhat disappointing sales results all they want,'

Care to answer this.

And what disappointing sales?

In their billions and still, wow, your expectations are high,

Btw can you do better?

Demand for Apple products is in decline. We all saw this coming. It was a passing fad. The iPhone is old news, and Apple has failed to deliver anything new. (The iPad is just an iPhone with a giant screen, i.e. a basic netbook.)

When PC market growth slows due to saturation, Apple fans attribute this to a Post-PC* era. When it happens to an Apple product, the same commentators suddenly discover the saturation curve and declare Apple a victim of its own success. As this story is reported more widely, witness the double-standards of embedded tech journalism which daren't bite the hand that feeds it.

*Post-PC is an official Apple propaganda term, coined by Steve Jobs and promoted by the corporation and its embedded journalists and loyal fan community.
