I love my country, The U.S.A., I will always support it, but, I do not agree with the NSA on this privacy issue, or, invasion of privacy issue.
I think they should be held accountable for their collective actions as an act of High Treason against the American people.
All in all, its still the best country on this planet.

And, it is the government’s responsibility to stop a crazy guy from shooting up a movie theater? Perhaps he did not announce his intentions via his phone or internet. A very good point.
If the main justification for what is essentially a nationwide invasion of privacy is that it will make prevention of such attacks more probable, you would expect for attacks to, at the very least, be prevented.

I would say – that even if they get two hits out of every 100000k it would be a huge payoff – and then of course the data itself in aggregate form has value.
