		<description><![CDATA[Good article. These are the types of customer facing applications that can make a real impact for efficiency gains. CPS Energy where I live in San Antonio, TX has a very good program called Home Energy Savers, that is completely OPT-IN. The program provides a Smart Meter, Smart Thermostat, adapters for a Pool Pump, Water Heater, and AC&#039;s for Demand Response. Customers can view via a Web Portal or their Smart phone near real time energy usage and billing. I just signed up last week, and should receive my new system by next week. Seems like a great model.]]></description>
