		<description><![CDATA[Not really sure how this is taking the eye off the ball, As you say the Hypervisor is now a commodity and VMware have are way  ahead of the curve in terms of easy-to-use private cloud software (vCloud is the answer to scaled out Enterprise infrastructure surely?). And they are heavily pushing vCenter Operations this year which is their monitoring platform. Perhaps they have spread themselves a little thinly over the last couple of years and could do with focusing on a smaller subset of these Enterprise Apps but I definitely think they are moving in the right direction with their platform of products and architecting for the &#039;Cloud Era&#039;]]></description>
