Erm, Derrick…I don’t think Stockwell was drawing an analogy to cooling your house with the “coolness put off” by a carton of milk, not least of which because he probably knows that cold things don’t emit coldness. Pretty sure he was suggesting that cooling a server in a traditional data center is akin to cooling an unrefrigerated carton of milk using your home’s air conditioning.

I should have noted the business model, which is *generally* through resellers. So, customers fill them with whatever gear they want that fits inside.

So could these data centers operate as clouds for mobile workplaces? They seem like they have plenty of processing power, but would it be enough to host virtual machines across a network?
