Sprint is open to MVNOs because, by augmenting it’s own LTE with overflow TD-LTE capacity at clearwire in it’s most heavily congested regions, it has tons and tons of capacity.

That seals CLWR’s future. It will be bought by Sprint when it has the money.

Meanwhile Sprint has to signup as many LTE subs as possible to keep tonnage high and fund CLWR.

Look for 4-7 inch devices to hit $100 by the end of next year. If Freedompop, Netzero and Yourkarma can execute, most teenagers will move off their parents plan.

the 3G is a bigger deal than LTE

with a small cap + overages speed is not what future freedompop users need but the broader coverage of 3G could help a lot.
