My BlackBerry 9780 isn't Verizon, it's T-Mobile USA. My 9780 is 3G and it's Speedtest.net testing has been "consistent". Why RIM isn't using cellular technology by introducing 4G LTE hardware? It's a mystery. Many RIM owners utilize their handset for voice, email, SMS messaging, internet browser, other RIM productivity applications and also testhering. In defense of RIM, they do have 4G handsets - Torch is a 4G GSM handset. But I didn't upgrade to a Torch because it's heavier than my 9780 (a drawback). RIM needs to bite the bullet and keep up with their hardware competition, especially considering all the corporate BES users.
