Interesting. But count me out of any Google branded device – they still have a nearly zero track record in any matters of support!

Completely agree that Google is likely to show off some Glass, but more as conceptual and prototype than anything else. Still, I’d love to see how the project is progressing, so I hope you’re right!

Google recently amended their FCC request for what is expected to be project glass from 100 to 722 units. https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/els/reports/STA_Print.cfm?mode=current&application_seq=52062 And since Mountain View is one of the listed testing sites with a 121 mile radius, San Francisco is easily within that area. So I would think that it’s pretty likely that we’ll get to see/discuss/test project glass in depth at this year’s google I/O.
