My main concern with connecting home security to your smartphone is how easily someone could control everything (for example opening a locked door) if they gained control of your phone. It's all very well saying that the apps will be password protected, but there's nearly always a 'Remember my Password' function, and the software would be a magnet for hackers. Other than that I think that being able to control your whole home from afar is great, but until the apps are guaranteed to be impenetrable I'd prefer to stick to a normal CCTV streaming app.

This looks remarkably similar to what Ericsson showed off in the Connected Home at MWC. Is this competing technology, or is this an implementation based on Ericsson's infrastructure?
