    1. Agreed regarding the right analytics package, but it takes acknowledgement of problem and the right implementation to make it work. Not sure how responsive design helps here though.

      1. Responsive designs generally avoid redirects to separate mobile websites. This (clearly) doesn\’t solve issues with multiple link structures, but it does help avoid one of the listed cases.

        Perhaps I\’m a little bit out of the loop here, but don\’t you pass a canonical URL to the FB \”Like\” button, negating the majority of these issues? Assuming a publisher is doing this (rather than allowing FB to auto-resolve the URL) and has a single canonical URL for each post, this entire problem goes away.
