Have you or any of your readers found that the new GPS tracker on Square delays and sometimes prevents transactions?
I had GPS on and it wouldn’t take me past the location verification message to the sales screen.

At Original Piece Apparel, a women’s clothing brand, we have used the Square for over a year. (We love the Square’s new iPAD features…giving us the ability to add discounts…something Sail has not released). The staff has been testing Sail and came to similar conclusions. However, we did not release the extra cost of AMEX. Great article! Look forward to reading more has the apps upgrade and update their capabilities.

I didn’t include cash either, which I also use to make payments (and accept payments) on a daily basis and there are no transaction fees at all for cash.

No, actually, I was wondering why you didn’t include Dwolla. I use it to make payments on a daily basis from my iPhone. It’s cash based, rather than credit, and anything less that $10 is free, and everything else is a flat fee of $0.25.

The Pro Plan makes sense at ~$1,350, not $13,500 in swipes per month.
