I’m not sold on all of the UI changes but iOS needs a refresh.
Also, Genius is a current feature of the App Store and has been around for a while.

FaceTime over 3G is only offered to the iPhone 4S because has an improved antenna design and networking chips. Apple doesn’t just cut out features to smite users.

I really hope Apple didn’t change the Music app too much….on the iPad they changed it so much that you can’t play Video Podcast playlists, nor see lyric/podcast-shownotes anymore :/

The new Music Player is hideous. Using gray for the content area as well as status bar and nav bar makes it too busy and messy, and hard to tell which part of the screen is which. I can’t believe this came out of Apple!

Keep in mind the serious load that will present on the networks powering all the iPhone 4′s. I think it’s the same reason they didn’t release Siri for anything but the 4s giving a new beta product to the millions and millions of iPhone users ontop of the 4s would be a huge draw on the networks

The iPhone 4 should be more than capable of supporting VIPs and other features. I hope Apple changes its mind like it did with multitasking gestures on the original iPad, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Although not entirely applicable to this article, I just read that most new features in iOS6 are only going to be compatible with iPhone 4S and up. Like FaceTime over 3G, I mean come on, I could understand if it was iphone 4 and up but iphone 4S and up, that’s just ridiculous. I get this is all about encouraging upgrades for more profit but it’s rules out so many users who have iPhone 4 and who are stuck on contracts. Come on Apple, that is just down right unfair.
