Regarding iCloud: Zou underestimate that iCloud still needs to gain increased support for 3rd party developers. This will be THE big thing. We currently see still tto little integration between desktop and iOS devices, which will onlz develop via iCloud support for developers.

Long live the Mac Pro. There are a lot of naive people who think that a Mac Pro can be substituted with an iMac, Mac Mini, or even a MacBook Pro. That's just plain false. There are, after all, people who want to run some heavy duty bare metal (why can't a Mac Pro be an "office" or "SoHo" cloud for SMB?). I have 32 GB of RAM in my 8-Core 2010 Mac Pro and it is both required and useful for certain types of applications (can't get that many cores on any other Mac). Oh and by the way, a beefed up Mac Pro could also make for an *awesome* machine for testing / experimenting with technology like virtual machines, high performance computing, and even some "big data" prototyping (there's no rule that says you can't run Hadoop on a pair of beefy Mac Pros), despite all the fanfare about renting on cloud providers like AWS. Some people may not want to be tenants in the sand castles made by Bezos et al.
