The sun is shining across most of Europe, and the continent is swarming with events. Here’s our pick of three that you should follow this week.

European Union

Summer’s in full swing across most of Europe, and the continent is swarming with events for you to entertain and inform yourselves. Britain, in particular, is buzzing this week — whether it’s a hack weekend in historic surroundings (Over The Air) or keeping up with the haircuts at the Digital Shoreditch Festival, or one of dozens of other events taking place.

Here’s our pick of three events in particular that you should be taking notice of.

Startup Caravan, London, May 28
Though Europe’s major startup centers spend most of their time trying to decide which one is the most important, it’s not all about competition. In this new event, a group of Parisian startups head to London to show what they’re up to.

42 conference, Moscow, May 29
Running alongside DLD Moscow, this startup conference aims to bring the best companies and investors in Russia together for a day of discussion and networking. I would have been there, but unfortunately couldn’t make it in the end.

Thinking Digital, Gateshead, UK 29-31 May
Each year this conference, run in the north-east of England, seems to get better and better. Speakers this year include a robot surgeon (not a robot surgeon) an artist who specializes in neon sculpture and a champion of crowdsourced neuroscience.
