		<description><![CDATA[The allure and usefulness of a &#039;closed garden&#039; operating system will continue to degrade over time. If my laptop forced me to use the comparatively dismal Safari (or IE) every time I clicked a link in my email, I would have words with the OS maker. 
The (near) future of mobile operating systems has to become more open, or the manufacturers will face the same anti-competitive suits that Microsoft faced in the late 90&#039;s.]]></description>
