Funny. On top of the article it says “We have updated our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.” Something that companies will no longer be able to held liable for breaking. Two companies will no longer be able to do business without the worry that their business partner may secretly release private information in the process of building a more comprehensive cyber”threat” profile. I don’t understand why more companies are not up-in-arms over this.

Sadly, I agree. It’ll probably be stalled until after November. If the Senate tries to push this through before the election, Obama will either be forced to veto or take a black eye that looks remarkably like SOPA.
