		<description><![CDATA[I wouldn&#039;t write the broadcast industry&#039;s obit just yet. Advertisers still flock to primetime TV programming because like it or not, that&#039;s still where the eyeballs are and I don&#039;t see that changing all that much too soon. Granted the numbers are declining, but they&#039;re still far higher than anything that&#039;s on the Internet. Tracking eyeballs is an attractive feature but advertisers still want big numbers. And broadcasters are FAR more savvy at playing the lobbying game in DC and can have the rules bent to their advantage. I&#039;m not saying things won&#039;t change, I just don&#039;t think they will change as fast as what many of us want or expect.]]></description>

This was the last significant NAB.   

The NAB show will be gone in 5 years.

Follow the money.  

With web based eyeballs the advertiser (THE SOURCE of all MONEY in our biz) can track demographics and eyeballs to the micro second -then resell our souls - oops - data to the highest bidder.   Get it on the front end, get it on the back end.

		<description><![CDATA[due to budget issues i did not attend this year. but ive long said that TV as we know it is dead. I look at most of my favorite content on line on my computer or tablet. The Giant mega Screen is cool when you have company of for movie night. But 80 percent of what I watch is online. So to that end Ive been moving my content that way. I reach a broader audience and I can quantify the data on who watched and for how long very easily.]]></description>
