I just recently bought 2 nests, so far so good. Though wish the thermostats cud be controlled locally using the app than having to log into nest servers.

My son got me a Nest Thermostat for Christmas, it’s WiFi and connects to my router. I can see the stat online from the Nest web site or on my iPhone app. Works great so far, and it does save energy. I wish it handled dual cooling.

If Nest is developing their product this rapidly it doesn’t sound like they’re losing much sleep over the Honeywell lawsuit. Either that or they want to sell as many thermostats as possible to build up a war chest to defend themselves.
