Nokia&#039;s design has a spur on it, possibly to make it more secure when inserted into an external slot, but this violates and ETSI requirement for jam-free designs.

Apple&#039;s design has a height equal to current SIMs&#039; width, violating an ETSI requirement that a nano SIM&#039;s dimensions rule out accidental mis-installation in current and new devices (I guess consumers could mistakenly install Apple&#039;s design sideways in a current device).]]></description>
