Amazon’s Kindle Touch e-reader is available for preorder in Europe now.

The BBC reported the news first and Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) followed up with a press release with more details. The Kindle Touch WiFi and 3G will go on sale in the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy — the countries where Amazon has a Kindle Store — on April 27, the BBC said, but Amazon says it’s available for preorder now so ship times could be sooner. Prices are £109 for the WiFi version and £169 for WiFi/3G.

The e-reader is available in British and American English plus German, French, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Kindle Touch has been available in the U.S. since November and has been shipping to many international countries (but not the five affected by the new rollout) since February.

  1. Definitely Kindle will gain attention to Europe since it is a great and affordable tablet.
