What a great resource! It’s refreshing to see so many options available to film makers (especially independent film makers) who want to earn money from their work. These types of guides are great because when it comes to monetizing your content, it’s very important to keep the audience in mind, as not all monetization tools are made equal. It’s critical to choose the right tool for the type of content you’re providing, because if a customer isn’t willing to pay to view your content, they may leave your site at point of purchase. For those who are looking to monetize content other than videos, there are more tailored methods like content locking or inserting advertisements in-between viewing pages, which enable publishers to deliver and monetize content without charging visitors. These can work for large newspapers, to small blogs, and every digital outlet in between.
