The thing that I like that most about this new IPad is the new camera. Apple always comes out with new products that have amazing new features. Apple is one of the only companies I have seen that consistently work on improving products.

I used a 7-inch UMPC with BT keyboard for my job as a 2008 experiment and it worked fine. However, I keep using the MB Air instead of the iPad (or any other tablet for that matter) because I’m often trying to work as fast as possible and the Air does a better job at keeping up with me. Hope that makes sense… in the long run, I suspect I will move away from a laptop as mobile hardware & software improves. I realize that not everyone can, but for my requirements, it’s certainly possible.

I have to say that the inventory of the new iPads in the US was far better than what this article leads me to believe. I went to Best Buy on Friday afternoon (several hours after the store had opened) and there were literally over 100 new iPads available for purchase. A lot of the 16GB models were almost out, but there were plenty of 32GB and 64GB models left (WiFi only and 4G). I originally bought a 32GB WiFi only model, but returned it the next day and was able to exchange it right on the spot for a 4G 32GB model. Needless to say, either Apple really stepped up the total number of units available for this launch or there is less demand for it than when the iPad2 was released last year… http://pokredyt.pl/

That’s also the reason Google made Android somewhat more open. It’s also the reason Intel, Samsung and Huawai decided to go 100% open with Tizen (licensed under the GPL. Who knows if it’ll succeed, but being completely open is its only chance. It will also be the reason Windows 8 on ARM tablets will fail, as you can’t arrive 4 years late to the party with an even tighter walled-garden than iOS.
