The general public need a way to get behind green projects that can directly influence quality of life. While trying to crowdfund our project for solar fuels in Netherlands. A couple of issues need to recognised.

– crowdfunding may be “prohibited” in US but it is not in Europe. Small initiatives in equity based funding are appearing all over the place. Although it is not regulated market yet. – The US remains the biggest market with the highest on-line purchase and once crowdfunding is possible I predict a run on crowdfunding services in US. The competition will be killing and probably misused and abused by scam. I understand reservations of politicians but as entrepreneur I too urge them to approve the bill in sake of innovation.

But I want off the grid with battery storage – at my house – not going onto the power company at night. Japan did some research on that, wish a home battery storage ability could be bought. (SoCal)
