Regarding Keynote, it would be great if you could have presented more information about how close to parity the two versions come (Keynote for the new iPad and Keynote for Mac OS X). Many people will still want to produce Keynote presentations on a Mac (such as an iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Pro tower) but deliver them on iPads. But there are issues doing so (fonts, slide transitions, video codecs of embedded video etc.). C'mon GigaOm, we expect a bit more depth from your articles!

Mark, nice article on the new iWork apps. The new iPad is definitively a step in the right direction for users who are using their tablets for productivity. About a month ago, I realized a template for Keynote that makes it much easier to author slides on an iPad. The template consists of about 150 slides, many of which have vector graphics and photos. We're in the process of scaling this graphics heavy deck up for the Retina display, and I've been amazed at how smoothly Keynote on iOS handles a graphics-heavy deck at 2048x1536. Browsing and authoring are both very smooth. The Retina-optimized version will be released later this week: http://www.slidevana.com.
