Totally agree – for now it is not a problem but eventually it is going to be a massive issue for ESPN and how they are going to deal with it. If I was them – more short videos, more shareable. They still make good content (despite being biased towards BoSOX) and can counter the competition in an effective manner.

In the last few months the NBA, NCAA and now the PGA are putting approved, share-able clips onto YouTube minutes after they happen. No threat to ESPN right now, but it might be a break in the dam.
