I also have a magazine on both newstand and zinio, the “pinch-in” quality is much better on zinio.

The Barnes & Noble Nook newsstand has a rich variety of magazines. You can also use the NOOK app on many different devices like the iPad, select Android tablets and phones as well as the NOOk tablet and NOOK color.

Many are far more advanced than anything zinio is creating.

What irritates me is the quality of the magazines. They’re over compressed so images are very very poor. At least give me the option of a slower download for better quality. I’ve also had loads of issues with billing and the late/inconsistent delivery of magazines I’ve subscribed too.

Use a dedicated mag app like The Economist or EVO magazine and you’ll see what I mean about quality.
