Great Article !!!!!
Thanks for bringing out some key ideas concerning the issues of privacy from the end users perspective.
I think that many still see ways to solve the privacy issue from inside the box of traditional business models. I think we need to turn the entire process on its head and this more than likely will need to start with changing notions of what constitues a "Corporation" as well as with a reconsideration of the "Value" "Chain"
We are developing www.kleemi.com to push the edges and bring about some of new possibilities concerning "Community Empowerment"

Simple solution: nationalize Google. No more need for advertisers, and now the platform is under the sovereign control of the people. It might appear to be costly, since now taxpayers must foot the bill for all of Google's services and hardware, etc. But in fact, it would actually cost very little, if anything: consumers are ultimately already supporting Google, but doing so indirectly through the ads bought by companies who sell their products to consumers.
