  1. Hello! Always look forward to your podcasts. It is a favorite of mine. I wondered if Matt found any problems syncing Google Contacts into Windows Phone. I’ve heard some folks say that if they have substantial meta data in their Google Contacts, they won’t import well into WP. Thanks!

    1. Thanks Jeff! I’ll ask Matt to reply here directly, but I can tell you that I haven’t had any problems getting Google Contacts into Windows Phone personally. I’ve set it up as an Exchange account, not as a Gmail account, which could be part of the reason. Let’s see what Matt says….

Jeff, thanks for listening to the show. My Google Contacts is a real mess, no thanks in part to their system, so I actually just sync my Outlook/Exchange and Facebook contact lists. I have been planning to clean up and use my Google Contacts, but have not found the time.

Like Kevin mentioned, I have my Google account setup as Exchange too, primarily so I can view multiple family Google calendars on the device.
