Apparently Apple is not taking Amazon Kindle Fire threat lying down and is going after what would hurt amazon the most: their bread and butter in the e-book market in the nascent College and High school Book publishing sector!!!

Folks look like we have a punch-up on our hands, as apple get ready to make a retaliatory strike on Thursday January 20 2012!! Let’s get ready to rumble!!!

Let’s hope that the tools have good import capabilities. Nothing’s going to get me to give up writing in Scrivener. If Apple’s going to offer tools to format and layout ebooks, then it’ll need to be a tool that can import the text from other apps.
