Have used both iPhone and Samsung... and really, Samsung lacks a lot in terms of making the entire handphone experience efficient and convenient for users - from purchase to after sales service. It feels like you're just purchasing another phone with Samsung, whereas with Apple, you know there is so much value attached to the product that you are holding in your hands.

Samsung already has smartphones based on Android, Windows Phone 7, and Bada, a home grown OS. What else do you want them to add, WebOS?

Samsung is almost at its peak when it comes to hardware, if they introduce those transparent displays etc. They will have what it takes to nail the iPhone with hardware, BUT what about software? They don't have any... Google can always pull the plug on Android and make a more premium version for Motorola, they should team up with some big software / social media company and make their own OS, or at least a very different version of Android (like Amazon did) besides few years in mobile can change everything: http://baretech.wordpress.com/2011/12/09/how-the-flintstones-looked-at-the-mobile-industry/
