Good points and I think that is why both apps can peacefully coexist. For the record, I like and use instapaper.

Same here. I tried Read It Later, then moved to Instapaper and used it for a while. But with no hopes of it coming t Android, I picked up the Read it Later app and have loved it since. It was my first paid app on Android and to this day remains one of my most used.

Why should he? Read it Later have several developers to target multiple platforms with. Marco is but one developer, and I find his focus on iOS has lead to a better app compared to Read it Later’s iOS app.

I was a big fan of InstaPaper, too, but Marco has no interest in supporting Android. So I switched to Read It Later and have been just as happy with it as I was with InstaPaper.
