You don’t have to sign up to have a Klout account. It’s an opt-OUT service – you’re in until you say you don’t want to be. It sucks!

Good question. I just went and deleted my Klout account for starters (I don’t remember ever signing up to it, but apparently I had at some point). We can choose not to use products, and to talk about why, and to highlight abuses when we see them.

But how to do this in the way that counts? Difficult… what would you suggest?

How would we “hold them to account” for anti-social behavior? If money talks, we’d have to talk louder.

No, it doesn’t. Making a lot of money in no way negates unethical behaviour.
