There are some mobile applications that I have seen recently but there has been one in particular that has really caught my eye. It is called CSI globalVCard. It allows my business to make mobile payments on the go by generating one time use MasterCard numbers. It has really helped my business on the go and the best part is that you can start using it now- no need to wait for NFC!

Agree with 'Joao Rostli' - the future for NFC is small payments. NFC is such a massively underused convenience system. I've scoped out potential uses here, especially from a payment perspective.

Very good Ryan. Sooner or later some NFC app is usefull for John/Jane. NFC is just beginning, give it time. Don't talk about credit-card replacement yet. Use it for SMALL payments and public transport without pin-code. Fast and low risk. First let it prove to be safe, then we can start thinking if credit-cards are still needed.
The list of available <a href="http://www.nfc-phones.org/summary-list-of-all-available-nfc-phones/" rel="nofollow">NFC-enabled mobile phones</a> grows much faster than the list of" phones supporting contactless payments ". So, let's find something to share, pair and tag.

It will take multiple apps to get enough people to see others benefit from an info-tap of the phone in a real and direct way. I wrote a short blurb abput using NFC in a self powered door lock app. http://bit.ly/hxZ9GI
