Apps are the wrong approach for consuming media. Re-read Reed Hastings' quote: "You will not tune into a certain channel". People want quick access to their favorite *shows* and *episodes*. People want their news *feed* curated. They care less and less about news sources and TV channels, which are content aggregation mechanisms from the pre-web era and rendered irrelevant by direct access to content. Newsstand is a step in the right direction, but it's not over by a long shot. Plex/Clicker/Google News are a lot closer to the ideal unified search/aggregation/curation approach needed by media consumers.

As far as a games store goes, there already is the Game Center app. There should be a separate Video Store app dedicated to TV & Movies. iTunes should be dedicated to Music, Podcasts & iTunes U.

Just what we need. Another Store and another icon. Apple needs to combine all the store into one 'iTunes Store' app just like on the Mac. Then let you pick your category Apps, Music, Books ect... From there. People are getting sick of all the icons and different apps you have to go in and out of to find content. So no, we don't need another store we already have 4.
