Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) is now accepting Kindles, and other brands of e-readers, in its trade-in program. Come with us on a scaaaaaaaaaary voyage through the e-reader graveyard! Or just click through to see how much you’ll get if you trade yours in.

With the launch of the Kindle Fire and new Kindle e-readers, Amazon is hoping users won’t just trade in but will also trade up for a new model. The trade-in store is here; you’ll get the money in the form of an Amazon gift card. The prices:

First-generation Kindle: $17.75 (acceptable condition), $25.50 (good condition), $28 (like new)

Second-generation Kindle: $24.25 (acceptable), $34.50 (good), $38 (like new)

Kindle 3 (now called the Kindle Keyboard) WiFi: $17.25 (acceptable), $34.50 (good), $37.75 (like new)

Kindle Keyboard 3G + WiFi, Black: $20.75 (acceptable), $41.75 (good), $46 (like new)

Kindle Keyboard 3G + WiFi, White: $22 (acceptable), $44.25 (good), $48.75 (like new)

Kindle Keyboard WiFi with Special Offers: $16.50 (acceptable), $33 (good), $36.25 (like new)

Kindle Keyboard 3G + WiFi with Special Offers, Black: $21.50 (acceptable), $43.25 (good), $47.50 (like new)

Kindle Keyboard 3G + WiFi with Special Offers, White: $20.25 (acceptable), $40.25 (good), $44.25 (like new)

Second-generation Kindle DX (U.S.): $50.50 (acceptable), $101.25 (good), $111.25 (like new)

Second-generation Kindle DX (international): $50.75 (acceptable), $101.75 (good), $111.75 (like new)

You can also trade in early versions of other companies’ e-readers (not Nooks though): You’ll pull in $19.50 for a first-generation Kobo in good condition, for instance, or $33.50 for a Sony (NYSE: SNE) Reader Touch. If you are the lucky owner of a like-new PocketBook Pro 902, you’ll get $117.75, the most for any e-reader in the trade-in program, and kind of a good consolation prize if you for some reason bought the PocketBook Pro at its retail price of $329.99.
