Why does one have to be partying at night to “live life to its fullest?” I work as a programmer in the silicon valley and have a family, I think I am living life to the fullest more then I was when I was 20 and working/partying. Just sayin’.

A real Silicon Valley reality show would be like a Warhol movie: 18 hours of a pasty engineer staring at a screen. Maybe he gets up every few hours to piss. The real action comes at hour 11, when he briefly walks to the kitchen for a Red Bull.

Do they have any idea how incredibly boring this is going to appear to the audience? Silicon Valley startup life is 18 hour days in front of the computer. There is nothing to actually film. And any actual excitement is going to be happening online and away from the cameras. The average (read real) valley geek is also not photogenic nor even personable in any way.
