Hi Terri – thanks for sharing this informative post. Teradata University Network is continually following this trend, and recently teamed up with BI Congress II to release a study about universities’ BI programs. Despite the growing demand for data-savvy employees, the survey found that there are not enough graduates to meet the growing demand for big data jobs in the U.S. As a result of the study, curricula standards are being discussed to establish uniform BI programs in universities around the world that will meet the expected upsurge of big data workers. There’s no doubt that companies that can perform analytics on all of this big data will be at a significant advantage over competitors, and Teradata looks forward to helping customers along the way!
