Have been using Xignite for the past year or so for a mobile app and agree, cool company with cool products, on-demand literally saved my project. I'm on the other side of the fence WRT sales, my issue was that I couldnt get Thomson, Bloomberg and others to call me back, and when they finally did (weeks later), all they wanted to talk about was my budget. For me, it was great for me to able to pick up the phone and immediately talk to a sales/support reps @ Xignite. For my project, they all had great knowledge of the data I needed, and helped me identify which API calls worked best for my needs (Global RT, Master and Currencies). Would highly recommend, but obviously, may not be the best choice for everyone. Mobile-App-Master

Xignite is a cool company with cool products. However it has lousy salespeople. The products have to be customized to be of use and sales has very little understanding of this. Instead what you get are phone call after phone call and email after email saying the identical message: Xignite provides financial data. Yeah, got that. Also got that you need to make quota.
