I am trying to watch a program that is available on HBO go and not on the “on demand” function on actual HBO. I played HBO go on my iphone and hooked it to the TV, all the TV shows is “HBOgo” and the sound comes through the TV. My Iphone cord works for everything else (Netflix, hulu etc) perfectly. Is there some block on HBO go that prevents you from watching it on a TV?

I would love to see HBO Go become available as a separate subscription as the cable package. I bet a lot of people that don’t have cable would go for this. HBO would make even more money. It’s a smart idea. I am one of many that agrees with this.

Will HBO Go ever be available via subscription on mobile devices and connected TVs, without needing a cable subscription? I gave up cable about 6 months ago and switched to Hulu Plus and Netflix…and doubt I will ever go back. Love HBO, but not enough to pay $80 for all the other crap. Thx!

If it’s only available as a paid subscriber of HBO as part of a cable TV package, then it’s worth as much to me as the ESPN “ocho” package on XBox Live…that is to say, nothing.
