I believe you’re right on target with your assesment of this collaboration trend, however I think that phenomena of “untemplaters” will soon be carried over to the full-time employees with the influx of the new workforce – Generation Y. I love that you wrote something that defends the fact that hiring freelancers can be great for your business. I’ve been doing just that for over 20 years. Yes, there will always be fears, especially on the issue of accountability, privacy and security. Still, it’s all about trust and communication that will bring about the success of working with freelancers or web workers. We can only thank technology for changing the way people work these days.
