That’s the way I thought about iPad until I finally bought one and quickly learned that it is not overhyped.
A tremendous machine.

@Sunnyguy: I own a Mac and while I’d say it’s a great laptop, I’d hardly call it “amazing.” It’s on par with pretty much any high-end laptop out there, but I wouldn’t call those other machines “amazing.” Solid, reliable, yes. But amazing? It’s been a while since a particular product or item from any of the major manufacturers really earned such an appellation…

And for what it’s worth, I think the iPad is WAY overhyped for what it is.

Apple’s main problem up until now is that they are selling iPhones faster than they can build them. I think they know what they’re doing.

And to answer your question: Yes, the iPhone is that amazing.

But then, so is the Mac, the iPod and the iPad. Apple does it again — as usual.
