It will allow me to cut to footage of the popular videos I am discussing while maintaining my eligibility for YouTube’s Partner Program and much needed Adsense revenue. I will also be able to better compete with video reviewers like Ray William Johnson.

As long as YouTube continues to respond to infringement claims and use its proprietary automated “infringement detection” technology to remove offending content, they should be okay.

They’re still just a hoster, and not liable for infringement unless they know about it and chose not to do anything against it.
