I actually like the user experience very much. It’s very Google-ish – I just typed something like Android best resolution and it found it.

I think the comparison to gsmarena is not right – it’s not a search… try finding there the phone with best battery life and display size combination – you’ll find that impossible.

Looked at their site.
It is completely not consumer friendly.
Better alternatives exist, e.g. Gsmarena and bestof

running a single application (most common scenario) a 1.4Ghz processor will be much faster than a 1Ghz dual-core (will use only one of the cores) I guess that the logic… my logic goes the same path

I am not an expert, but isn’t the LG Optimus X2 faster than the Galaxy S Plus? Dual Core 1GHz vs Single Core 1.4GHz.

So they need to look into such things too. Best would be if the have test results but then an automated approach wouldn’t work. Another difficulty could be the different versions of Hardware. Still a site with all technical data would be cool.

(Disclosure: I got an Optimus Speed to test from LG.)
